TheBalm Mary Lou-Manizer is a ultra shimmery highlighter/eyeshadow. The color is beige with light golden tone. The shimmer gives off golden sheen, which I think gives more natural glow than an iridescent sheen. The sheen is very intense with out making your face look greasy when applied. Very very effective highlighter. If you are looking for a subtle highlighter, this isn't it.
The formula is good. It's buttery and blends really nicely. The fallout isn't bad at all for the amount of shimmer it contains. Mary Lou-Manizer does have the pretty common problem of accentuating pores, so you may want to avoid putting it on areas with large pores.
The highlighter doesn't move around on face. Sheen stays for a really long time. At least until oil consumes them for me. Haha
Packaging is plastic. It feels like I should never ever drop it. The product itself might survive by absorbing the shock but the packaging feels like it wouldn't be much of a help. But it closes securely and has a huge mirror. I think it's cute but I know design is really personal preference.
