Comparison Swatch: Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed vs. Giorgio Armani Sheer Blush in 5

GA blush 5 Tarte AC exposed
On the left: Giorgio Armani Blush #5. On the right: Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed
Comparison pics! I like these because it prevents me from buying dupey things. :)
I'm comparing two good everyday blushes. :) GA 5 and Tarte Exposed.
In natural light
As you can see, exposed is more red. And it pulls even more red on my cheeks. I know it doesn't do this for everyone so as with anything ymmv. :)
I recall a blogger calling GA 5 "violet beige" and I agree with that description. On me, it doesn't swatch or wear as brown as it looks in the pan. :) Super wearable nude blush, and it's one of my favorites.

GA texture is far superior, the color (without red) is more flattering on me, so I recommend GA 5 between the two. GA 5 is especially good because you don't have to be particularly careful with the application. Nicely sheer. :) But if you prefer a more obvious block of color and don't mind the reddish tinge, Exposed is good too. It was well used when it was one of the two blushes I had (oh gosh...) but I don't have it anymore. I was just not reaching for it over other blushes like GA 5. Hope this helps. :)

RMK Cheek Brush Review

rmk blush brush
RMK Cheek Brush
Let me introduce my favorite cheek brush at the moment. :) I showed it in this post. I was planning on writing a different review but this saved me from a disaster today. I just swiped the brush on NARS Mata Hari blush way too much, and I just slapped the blush on my cheeks without tapping the excess off. I gave me an oval pinkness with very clear edges. Lol. But this thing buffed it out and off so easily. LOVE!

New Foundation from Revlon!! And it's not from the Colorstay line. I have two that I happily use but Revlon is my friend, so I tried.

Review: Physicians Formula Beauty Balm Powder from Super BB Line

PF BB powder
Phyisicans Formula Beauty Balm BB Powder
One of the newly released drugstore face products! I was in need of a powder foundation so I picked this up. At a good deal too. Otherwise I probably would have gone for Revlon Nearly Naked Powder. Lol

Fyrinnae Numero Uno

From left to right. Top Row: Immortality, Velvet Vampire, Bonfire Spirits, Witchy Woodland Creatures, Polar Bear, Pixie Epoxy
Bottom Row: Are You My Mummy? Shenanigans, Shinigami, Purgatory, Serendipity, Rapunzel had Extensions

So My picks were Arcane Magic: Velvet Vampire, Bonfire Spirits, Immortality, Witchy Woodland Creatures, Polar Bear, Shenanigans, Shinigami, Purgatory, Serendipity, and Rapunzel had Extensions all in mini sizes. They generously threw in Are You My Mummy? and Pixie Epoxy minis. Everything was packed fabulously. It seems like they have great customer service!

I desperately need sun for the swatches so they will come at a later date. The loose shadows are not my thing, and these need to be pressed for me but pigmentation and powder quality is great! When I used a patting motions instead of swiping, there was minimal fall out. They do need to be on top of a sticky base for the full out color in my opinion. If you are used to and can use loose eyeshadows, I can't see any problems with these.

Colors are very complex and they are very affordable so I highly recommend you check them out. :) And they have pressed shadows too!

Lastly, I will come back with how my pressing frenzy worked out once my binder and pans come to me.

Bronzer/Contour Powder Comparison Swatches

There's no denying that I am a fan of contouring, so I ended up with more bronzer/contour powder than I should. Taking advantage of that I took a comparison pic. I left out my beloved Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel but I can assure you it's more orange than any of these. Lol

List of products:
Benefit Hoola
theBalm Bahama Mama
Too Faced Chocolate Soleil
Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder in Medium
Burberry Earthy
Nars Laguna

bronzer swatches
From left to right: Benefit Hoola, theBalm Bahama Mama, Too Faced Chocolate Soleil, KA Sculpting, Burberry Earthy, NARS Laguna

Out of these, I contour my cheeks with Burberry Earthy and KA Sculpting Powder the most. When I am using a "cute" blush color, KA doesn't fly. It's too gray. Burberry pretty much goes with every blush color but it won't give me strong contoured look though. Those two have the best quality in terms of how finely milled, blendibility, etc.

When it comes to contouring my forehead, I randomly use the other ones. That partly due to me trying to use stuff up and the fact that forehead contour colors are easier than hollows of the cheeks.

I like to use Hakuhodo G5521BkSL for contouring my cheeks and it works beautifully. :)

Let me know if you have any questions and hope this helps. :)
